During this program, the participants will hear from lawyers about the jurisprudence and legislation and will listen to the testimony of an expert in spinal surgery. There will be a number of materials sent to the participants, including.

• A paper on the law on causation.
• A sample case that will raise the issue of whether the injuries result directly from the use or operation of a motor vehicle and whether a subsequent medical error may have also caused the injuries.

There will also be a discussion of the significance of a medical test called the Score Sheet of the ASIA.
