This program will assist experts in understanding what is meant by: the standard of care vs. the gold standard, would vs. could, medical certainty vs. on a balance of probabilities, the “but for” test in causation, and the counterfactual.

Gayle established Brock Medical Malpractice Law PC in April 2010, leveraging 14 years of past experience in medical malpractice litigation at a prominent personal injury law firm. Recognized as a trailblazer in Ontario’s medical malpractice legal sphere, Gayle previously presided as the President of the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto in 2022-2023 and is a member of the prestigious Holland Group, showcasing her dedication to the field and her commitment to fostering professional excellence.
